Frank Tieri & Cezar Razek “Red Sonja: The Black Tower”

After such great experiences with Gail Simone’s Red Sonja, I
decided to take a chance on work that someone else has done with the
character. I had the opportunity to read
this as an eARC, so why not?
It was so apparent that there is a big talent gap here.
I don’t want to spoil certain plot points, because that’s
literally about all this story has going for it. Suffice it to say that I NEVER thought that a
RS story would go like this.
It’s not that anything is not professionally done. But there’s really nothing here to recommend
it either. And certain plot elements are
definitely going to anger some readers.
