Ed Brubaker & Sean Phillips “Fatale Deluxe Edition,

Fatale was Brubaker & Phillips’ take on noir meeting a
Lovecraftian mythos. A beautiful women,
the Femme Fatale of the title, engaged in a struggle with cultists throughout time.
There’s a lot of unpack here, but it’s impossible to do so
without massive massive spoilers.
But this giant (400+page) collection gives depth and a
completion to the story.
This is a brilliant contemporary comic that deserves serious
study and analysis. This is the
definitive way to read it.
