You know those books that they sell near the registers in bookstores? They’re around all year, but you really
notice them near Christmas. You’re
panicky and looking for a gift. Here’s a
slight book and fits your budget.
Everyone likes to laugh, right?
Well, that’s what this is.
Some years back all those books seemed to change so that they were all
just internet content put on paper and between covers. This one is based on a tumblr.
The premise is simple:
Disneyfied fairy tale characters act like contemporary people. That’s basically the joke. Jump on over to the tumblr and check it
out. You’ll know right away if this will
make you laugh or not.
How do you evaluate this type of book? My wife *loves* them. She gives them as gifts & laughs loudly
as she reads them again. Me, I’m not so
amused. They’re ok, but why pay for the
book when I can read the blog, right? The
good news is that you will know right away what you think about this book.
