Andrea Nguyen “The Pho Cookbook” (Ten Speed Press, 2017)
Before I looked at this book, all I knew was that pho was a
tasty soup available at certain restaurants.
What Andrea Nguyen does is to quickly and effectively get
newbies (like me!) up to speed—what is pho? What is its history?
Accessible history and discussion of the dish followed by
simple clear recipes. It’s really I all could have asked for in a cookbook.
